Community Outreach Project – February 2026
Little Sisters of the Poor Care Home, Vauxhall
Sarah Thurlow, Katherine Spencer, Chris Rawley and Fiona Mitchell visited the Little Sisters of the Poor care home in Vauxhall to perform an afternoon concert of music by W. A. Mozart and Franz Anton Hoffmeister on period basset horns, clarinets and bassoon, and to talk about their instruments. It was a pleasure to meet the residents and staff, and share our music with them.

Our Outreach Work
What We Offer
The Vauxhall Band offers a range of outreach activities for care homes, schools, museums and community organisations. These include informal concerts, instrument demonstrations, and opportunities for audiences to meet the players and learn more about the music and the instruments.
Programmes can be tailored to suit different audiences and settings.
